NOCTURNES for soprano and chamber orchestra - (1961-62)

My Nocturnes for soprano and chamber orchestra (or piano) is a suite of settings to Chinese poems in Danish translation by Carl Kjersmeyer.

The suite is made up of 5 parts of which I, III and V are songs and II and IV are an interlude and a prelude (to Awakening).
