Programme Note

SEKS DANSKE KORSANGE (1991)
(Six Danish Choral Songs for SSA or SSATB, 1991)
The songs in this choral collection from 1991, when I was honoured as Choral Composer of the Year (by the Danish Amateur Choral 3. VÆLDIG ER JORDENS VEJ (Ole Association) are composed so that can be performed for equal voices (SSA) or for mixed choir (SSATB) - and combined ad lib. (fx one verse SSA, another verse SSATB).
Choral song nr. 2, 3, 4 are available in an English version also, as separate choral songs (“The Year”, “Steep is the path”, “Freezing Nights”). Nr. 6a is in Latin:
