PER NØRGÅRD: ÅRTUSINDS HÅB - for voices (or unison choir) & organ

The choral song is a hymn for the new millennium, composed to a new text by the Danish poet Jørgen Gustava Brandt - a hope for the new century.
The melody has a touch of both old Eastern and romantic European traditions - combined in a new way of late 20th century.
